Happy New Years! I just wanted to share a couple of promises I made to myself that I haven’t broken. I hope it will inspire you. 8 years ago. On this very day 8 years ago I took my last inhale from a cigarette. I made no resolution. I never do. But I suppose the timing was great as it was just after New Years Day. I’m rambling anyways. It wasn’t easy for a month or so. I was just turned 21 so I was drinking at he bars EVERY Weekend. LOL. that made it much harder. But I did it. I havent taken a puff. I’m so proud of myself. I know you can do it and be just as proud of yourself. In 2011, I also successfully stopped drinking caffeinated drinks. that means soda and coffee. I have occasionally had a non caffeinated soda once or twice { Tops }. And during Thanksgiving, I was a guest at someone’s house I just met that day, all they had was diet Mountain Dew. So I DID drink a Mountain Dew on Thanksgiving Day. But of course, not by my choice. Even still its been 3 months since I quit. And I an EXTREAMLY proud of myself. As with smoking it was hard at first. The first week was horrible. Someone might be feeling the same that’s reading this. I want you to know. It gets easier! Distract yourself. When I wanted a cigarette I would drink a cold glass of water. VERY COLD. It’s good for you and it felt good going down. The sudden coldness woke me up and reminded me what I was doing and why I was doing it!

Alright, To make this “Second Life Relateable.” I feel like such a rich Diva. Well broke diva now. lol. Just bought out Kalnins. They are having a 50% sale if you use there “Massive Credit Card” Pretty awesome. I love nice sales.

Where to begin? My first entry. I had this cool idea to keep a Second Life Diary. To rant & rave, share tips & techniques and other stuffs. I hope it will reach people who might need it. Anyways, First Post.

I’m in a super bleh mood today. I don’t understand why. Maybe its Monday, lack of sleep, or stress from Moving. I just want to sleep the day away and wake up on Tuesday. lol.

Anyways, Second Life Related, the casting results from 5th Avenue were released today. YAY, I made it along with 5 other lucky ladies: Nala Kurka,  Shena Neox,  Tempest Rosca,  Kellis Resident &  Sakira mirabella. And 2 handsome men: Ewan Crumb & Trae Westland. Whoa 8 people casted. That is ELITE as it gets! I am extremely thankfully to Phillip Dollinger and the other judges at 5th Avenue. This really made my blehness day turn not so bleh. The other models looked beautiful. It must have been a tough choice. I don’t know what made me stand out at casting.

Perhaps, it was my poses. I usually try to think ahead, so before the casting I set aside specific poses. I created sequences. I added 2 poses that I can do singular. I created 2 sets of 2 and a(1) set of 3. So that is 9 poses all together. Threw them all in a folder along with a notecard to remind me the order and to the casting I went. So to my surprise, I arrive at the casting and what I tried to plan-ahead for fell apart! The walk was as simple as you can wish. Straight walk, to the front, and pose. We posed at least a minute. But ahah! My planning wasn’t in vain! I already had working sequences. I just needed to thread them all together.  Having 9 poses that worked together before I even arrived, I was good to pose at least 90 seconds Didn’t need them all but I used the extra for the finale!

A little planning goes a long way. XO’s. Vi.
